Where do you ship from and what shipping carriers do you use?
We ship via UPS and USPS. We select the delivery method based on factors such as weather, package size and weight, delivery speed, carrier availability, and the destination’s accessibility. All shipments originate from Florida, USA.
How long will it take to get my order?
Most orders are processed within 3 business days. Once shipped, orders typically arrive within 2–3 business days. You’ll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.
To ensure your plants spend as little time as possible in transit and arrive in optimal condition, we ship orders Monday through Wednesday only to minimize weekend days.
While we make every effort to ensure timely delivery, we can’t be held responsible for delays once an order has shipped. That said, if you run into any delivery issues, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve them as quickly as possible.
Where do you ship to?
We currently only ship within the Contiguous United States, which excludes Alaska and Hawaii due to strict import requirements. We do not ship internationally, including to U.S. territories, and we do not provide phytosanitary certificates.
What happens during extreme weather?
During cold weather we include free heat packs, insulation, and weather-appropriate packing materials.
In the event the weather is particularly bad, such as extreme cold or heat, or a natural disaster that we anticipate could slow down shipping, we'll hold the order where necessary and then ship it out when it's safe to do so.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged?
Please email us plants@thevariegationstudio.com with your name, order number, and any other details you feel are relevant within 12 hours of delivery. This email must include clear photos showing the box, the entire plant(s) and any other damaged product. Please don't make any changes to the plant(s), such as deflasking or repotting, before contacting us.
Factors like handling, transit, or extreme weather are beyond our control, but we do take great care to protect them as best as possible during shipping with appropriate packing materials. It's normal for plants to experience some stress after shipping and they need time to adjust.
If you do experience any issues, please reach out to us, we're here to help!
